Nessie's family's singing had become so good that they were invited to perform at many places, but Nessie always dreamed of singing solo. At a family member's church, during the offering time, Nessie seized the moment and began to sing, impressing everyone with her strong and beautiful voice. The congregation stood, clapped, and sang along with her. Afterward, the mother of the church insisted Nessie be included in future programs. This marked the beginning of Nessie's journey as a solo performer, with other churches inviting her to sing. Her dream started to come true, but soon, her mom announced they were moving to Atlanta, Georgia, bringing a new chapter in Nessie's life.
