The Sovereignty of God by Arthur W. Pink is a classic theological work that explores many aspects of God’s glorious sovereignty. Pink used the Bible to answer all kinds of questions: Is God really in control of all things? Does man have free will? What about predestination and reprobation?
First published in 1918, this edition has been modernized to present all the great truths of the original in a more accessible format for our day and time. All Bible quotations have been updated to the NKJV unless otherwise noted. Quotations from other authors or church confessions were kept original. There are minor changes to Pink’s sometimes-awkward writing style, as well as changes like: “Holy Writ” to “Holy Scripture,” “Jehovah” to “Yahweh,” and “ere” to “before.” Where appropriate, some of the very long sentences were broken up into shorter sentences.
We hope this edition will make this great book useful for many future decades, and that God’s kingdom will be extended and strengthened, all for the honor and glory of our Savior, Christ Jesus.
