Samuel Adams

Samuel Adams was a political philosopher and politician in colonial Massachusetts, and as a leader of the movement that became the American Revolution came to be held as one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He is counted among the architects of the principles of American republicanism that shaped the political culture of the United States, and was second cousin to later U.S. President John Adams.
