People who constantly avoid challenges are labeled as being a person that constantly has “pessimistic thoughts” due to them not putting themselves out there because of the fear of being a failure. People who don’t challenge themselves won’t ever get out that barrier of trying to constantly protect themselves because their thought process is all negative.
Acknowledging your kids during their childhood creates a major difference on the way they perform when they’re older. (Positive impact)
Hiding yourself in places because of the fear of being overlooked at differently changes how you express yourself.
People internalize their behaviors by saying phrases like : “I knew this would happen” or “I knew this would turn out like this”. These phrases are often caused from self-doubt which leads to the person not taking risks because of the mindset that they aren’t capable of doing it. On the other hand, people say phrases like “I’m so good”, but in reality they are being sarcastic. In my opinion, this people pleasing tactics because if you’re really genuinely doing something for someone, you wouldn’t try to maintain a good character (bragging) just to feel accepted by other people.
People use protective thinking as a shield to not get hurt, and also leads to them being less vulnerable.
Don’t let anyone else’s expectations affect the way you perform. Let people think you’re this “failure”, so therefore when you succeed, they won’t know what to expect. This is a great way of focusing on what’s best for you instead of being in a situation where you have to live up to somebody else’s expectations. Do what you know what’s best for you with vulnerability, and be ready to face challenges.
Note to future self : Don’t let anyone know your moves because you never know who’s wishing negative on you. Make sure you cherish your accomplishments by yourself before telling anyone.
