The Quran is the central religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be a revelation from God — Allah. It is organized in 114 chapters — surah which consist of verses — āyāt. This English translation of Quran was made by the anglophile British Indian civil servant Abdullah Yusuf Ali.
