Ben Drago had spent almost all of his adult life as a soldier and a sniper, going places he would like to forget and doing things that he knew he never would. When an accident on the rifle range results in the shattering of his knee and the end of his military career he had thought that was all in the past. After coming back to take over his parents small farm in Blue Sky Arkansas and hoping to live a quiet life. Ben finds that his life has taken an entirely unexpected turn. Ben had not liked the high price he paid for gas, but then who did and had considered it just another of life's small inconveniences. When a dear sweet little old lady named Willow that he had known since he was a teenager is injured and dies in the attempt to get to medical help because of the lack of being able to pay the prices that the oil company demands, Ben realizes that he has one last mission left.
