•Depression can be caused by many reasons. It could be caused by genetics or environmental factors. Some of these factors are:

•Genetics: depression in the family.

•Other disorders such as anxiety or panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PSTD), obsessive-compulsive disorder.
